This is a later variety that is worth the wait! Once the fiery blooms start, they really get popping. Blooms varied from peach orange to fire red with lots of streaks and mottles in between. We harvested Gladiator nearly every day from our 1 starter plant once she got going!

Plant size: 4-5’
Fable’s Notes: Though this variety is advertised in other shops as a 12 inch dinnerplate, we did get a lot of smaller, 8 inch blooms.

Sometimes crud happens, and while we only list a portion of each variety into our shop at a time to try to mitigate risk of running short on supply, there is a possibility of tubers not making it through the winter (like the one year mice managed to get into our storage containers in March!) If such a thing occurs, and we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified for the option of a refund or store credit as you see fit. This year, we have a dedicated refrigeration unit to keep our tubers safe and at the perfect temp and humidity, so we’re hopeful all our stock will pull through without a hitch.
