Mardy Gras
This listing is for 1 tuber shipped direct from our farm in April.
Deep red petals hold a secret yellow core that likes to peek out here and there. For some growers, these flowers appear more orange, however none of our stock showed this trait.
Form: Formal Decorative
Bloom Size: 2-3”
Plant size: 36-48”
Fable’s Notes: This is one of those dahlias where it looks orange for some gardeners and red for others. We’re not sure if this is due to genetics or due to climate. If you purchase one of our tubers and get a more orange flower than we have in our images, we’d love to hear from you and see pictures!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
***Tubers start shipping out in mid April unless otherwise requested. If you request an earlier shipment of your order, you are strongly encouraged to add an insulation pack to their order to avoid risk of freezing in transit. We are not responsible for weather damage during transit. All orders are shipped via USPS.***
Sometimes crud happens, and while we only list a portion of each variety into our shop at a time to try to mitigate risk of running short on supply, there is a possibility of tubers not making it through the winter (like the one year mice managed to get into our storage containers in March!) If such a thing occurs, and we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified for the option of a refund or store credit as you see fit. This year, we have a dedicated refrigeration unit to keep our tubers safe and at the perfect temp and humidity, so we’re hopeful all our stock will pull through without a hitch.
