Because we’re focusing on keeping more tubers for our spring 2025 expansion, our selection is extremely limited this season! Many of our varieties only have 1 or 2 tubers available this year. We are keeping some in reserve - join our mailing list (bottom of page) to know when the reserve stock is released to the shop!
Thank you for your support!

TUBER SALES SHIPPING AND RETURNS:
Tuber sales are limited to the USA only at this time. We are in zone 6A/5B here at Fable’s Farm, which means we have ice and snow well into March and sometimes April. Our tubers are shipped out starting mid April to make certain they do not freeze in transit. We only store tubers that contain visible eyes in autumn - these eyes sometimes shrink in winter storage and may be hard to see in early spring, but they will plump up and return after planting! From there, it’s all about growing conditions and practices. We do not assume responsibility for tubers once they have been delivered safe and sound to your address. We package our tubers in labeled baggies of soil or other substrate on hand, and these are nestled into kraft paper for protection. In the rare case of tubers damaged during shipping, please report the damage with a photo of the shipping container and the tuber/s within 24 hours of receiving your package so we can send a replacement (if in stock) or a refund.
For tips on how to grow your new tubers, visit our Dahlia Care and Planting Guide page (a card with basic tips is also included with every tuber order for your convenience!) We recommend joining dahlia groups on social media, and checking out your local Dahlia Society as well as the American Dahlia Society, which are a wealth of further indepth knowledge.
