A la Mode
This listing is for 1 tuber shipped direct from our farm in April.
This dahlia reminds us of a cheerful little creamsicle. Yellow to burnt orange (and sometimes hues of pink) deep inside the petals are tipped with a creamy vanilla color. Strong stems and a good vase life make this a great cut flower!
Form: Formal Decorative
Bloom Size: 4-6”
Plant size: 48”
Fable’s Notes: This is the dahlia that started it all for Fable’s Farm! Melanie and Ben spotted this one, unlabeled, at Fuller Gardens in North Hampton, NH, and the obsession to find its name started a love for all dahlias!
IMPORTANT NOTES:
***Tubers start shipping out in mid April unless otherwise requested. If you request an earlier shipment of your order, you are strongly encouraged to add an insulation pack to their order to avoid risk of freezing in transit. We are not responsible for weather damage during transit. All orders are shipped via USPS.***
Sometimes crud happens, and while we only list a portion of each variety into our shop at a time to try to mitigate risk of running short on supply, there is a possibility of tubers not making it through the winter (like the one year mice managed to get into our storage containers in March!) If such a thing occurs, and we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified for the option of a refund or store credit as you see fit. This year, we have a dedicated refrigeration unit to keep our tubers safe and at the perfect temp and humidity, so we’re hopeful all our stock will pull through without a hitch.
