The reddest red that redded the red dahlias on the farm, red hat is not only RED, it’s very tall indeed. This turned out the be the winner of “tallest dahlia of Fable’s Farm” for 2023.

Fable’s Notes: As you may know, we grow in 2” tall raised beds, which meant we needed a step ladder to harvest these lovelies! However, we have read that other gardeners find this variety to bloom a relatively normal heigh of 48 inches for them - maybe ours was just going for the gold?

We are not responsible for weather damage during transit. All orders are shipped via USPS.***

Sometimes crud happens, and while we only list a portion of each variety into our shop at a time to try to mitigate risk of running short on supply, there is a possibility of tubers not making it through the winter (like the one year mice managed to get into our storage containers in March!) If such a thing occurs, and we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified for the option of a refund or store credit as you see fit. This year, we have a dedicated refrigeration unit to keep our tubers safe and at the perfect temp and humidity, so we’re hopeful all our stock will pull through without a hitch.
