Cherubino

This listing is for 1 tuber shipped direct from our farm in April.

These sweet little collarette blooms were introduced in 1954! It’s not wonder they’ve been kept all this time. They are cheerful and whimsical with bright yellow centers and snowy petals.

Bloom Size:4-6”

Plant size: 3-4’

Fable’s Notes: We trialed these in our personal garden up front, and the bees loved them as much as any pollen-laden seedling. They do like a bit more deadheading to maintain a good show as the white petals turn brown as they age. Not a great vase flower beyond a day or two. Definitely a garden variety over a cutting variety.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

***Tubers start shipping out in mid April unless otherwise requested. If you request an earlier shipment of your order, you are strongly encouraged to add an insulation pack to their order to avoid risk of freezing in transit. We are not responsible for weather damage during transit. All orders are shipped via USPS.***

Sometimes crud happens, and while we only list a portion of each variety into our shop at a time to try to mitigate risk of running short on supply, there is a possibility of tubers not making it through the winter (like the one year mice managed to get into our storage containers in March!) If such a thing occurs, and we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified for the option of a refund or store credit as you see fit. This year, we have a dedicated refrigeration unit to keep our tubers safe and at the perfect temp and humidity, so we’re hopeful all our stock will pull through without a hitch.
