Mystic Sparkler

This variety was developed in New Zealand, but we found it grew very well here in NH! A very short, loosely growing plant with countless open center blooms. Dark mahogany stems and deep green foliage make the bright pink and yellow flowers POP! The blooms are on weak stems and will not last long in a vase. Definitely better as a garden plant.

Fable’s Notes: One of our favorites for the dark foliage garden. The flowers are startling in contrast to the leaves and stems. This dahlia needs deadheading regularly to keep in full bloom. We put them on the deadheading schedule we keep our petunias and marigolds on.

Sometimes crud happens, and while we only list a portion of each variety into our shop at a time to try to mitigate risk of running short on supply, there is a possibility of tubers not making it through the winter (like the one year mice managed to get into our storage containers in March!) If such a thing occurs, and we are unable to fulfill your order, you will be notified for the option of a refund or store credit as you see fit. This year, we have a dedicated refrigeration unit to keep our tubers safe and at the perfect temp and humidity, so we’re hopeful all our stock will pull through without a hitch.
