This deep, burgundy-red lovely is quite the dark dahlia. Plant it in between bright white or yellow flowers, and it truly POPS as a black beauty. The petals resemble velvet more than satin, but it is a decadent flower through and through! Just a note: the leaves are green, not dark like the flowers. Fable’s Notes: Our first blooming dahlia in 2023! Everyone who has seen it on the farm is instantly in love. The blooms last a long time in the vase, with a couple reaching 7 days before the backs started wrinkling up. We plan to keep growing this one on the farm, so tuber supply is limited as we grow our stock.
